Name is Jose, 47, I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to DC after I joined the Army in 1981. I was in the Army for 8 years as an Army Nurse Corps officer. Currently works at an Army Hospital as a civilian Registered Nurse.

I started reading SF in English at age 12, when I pickeded up a copy of Heinlein's Starship Troopers. I had been in love with SF since then. My other love was the Civil Air Patrol but currently I am retired. I started as a cadet member at age 15.

I had been posting the Madgeburg Marines stories in the 1632 slush pile. I also invented the character of Mary Pat Flanagan who had guest spots in several flies stories.

I am hope to make it to 2004 MInicon.
