I'm a CPA but I don't do audits, I tell everyone. I prefer doing income taxes (shock!) because once you know the game and its rules it becomes fun, well, sort of. I live in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio and met Eric at the Context there a couple weeks ago. :)

I spent four years active duty in the US Navy and then 21 in the Naval Reserve, retiring as a Radioman Chief Petty Officer about seven years ago. In a few more years I'll start getting a pension for all that time.

I can remember reading sci-fi when I was ten (although my comprehension had to be limited) and posted the story "Chip's Christmas Gift" in the 1632 Slush. I've got more coming.
